Artist's Description
There is nothing quite like old buildings in the form of black and white drawings. The simplicity of the medium brings out the starkness of this scene. The original is a small drawing, which has been rendered on toothy watercolor paper, giving it a nice grainy effect. This little drawing measures 10.75x8 inches. It is available from the artist.
About Yvonne Blasy
Hello, visitors, fellow creative explorers, artists, and art lovers! Welcome to the online gallery of Yvonne Blasy. I'm located in the Great Southwest - Southwest Michigan, that is. Many art subjects are found here, and maybe one of these days I'll figure out what I want to be when I grow up - artistically speaking of course. My favorite niche is abstract horse art - I call them ImaginEquines - snappy, spirited horses in black and white. Sometimes they aren't as abstract, and sometimes not always in black and white. All sorts of subjects are of interest to me, often inspired by living amidst the most fabulous natural ambience in the world, the Great Lakes Region. And I love to paint, draw, or do mixed media. So, please - Have a look...
