Hello, visitors, fellow creative explorers, artists, and art lovers! Welcome to the online gallery of Yvonne Blasy. I'm located in the Great Southwest - Southwest Michigan, that is. Many art subjects are found here, and maybe one of these days I'll figure out what I want to be when I grow up - artistically speaking of course. My favorite niche is abstract horse art - I call them ImaginEquines - snappy, spirited horses in black and white. Sometimes they aren't as abstract, and sometimes not always in black and white. All sorts of subjects are of interest to me, often inspired by living amidst the most fabulous natural ambience in the world, the Great Lakes Region. And I love to paint, draw, or do mixed media. Thanks, Conni. Glad you like it. I started these a number of years ago after having the privilege of painting a life size carousel horse for a project in town. The dimensionality of it grabbed my attention, and I thought I'd see what would happen in carefully planning them on a flat surface. Fun!!!
